Q: IMOVIE 11 WILL NOT ACCEPT PHOTOS SINCE UPDATE THE OTHER DAY WHY?

I updated my macbook pro on the 9th march 2016 and since then it has ruined my imovie 11 finished project by not showing or accepting any photos in project. I still use IMovie 11 as i use it with idvd, the reason i still used both programs is that the new iMovie has no chapter marker built in program that works with dvd burner. Is there a fix to this problem as i have to deliver a finished job to a customer next week and spent a lot of man hours editing the project the only thing left to do was to render it to idvd graaaaaaaaahhhhhh.  HELP !!!!!!!

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)

Is there a fix to this problem

If you want to stick with Mac, you have to use older/better versions of iMovie.

I use chapters with Podcasts and DVDs.   I mostly use iMovie HD 06 with iDVD 09.

I would use iMovie 09 or iMovie 11. They still have the ability to create chapters. These versions are easy to obtain because they were originally sold on disk. Readily available on eBay or Amazon. You mentioned burning DVDs. I would also urge you to switch to M-DISC, they are designed to last for 1000 years.
