Image rendering glitch in Safari

Hello!

This image of two dollar bills rendered correctly in Chrome, however in Safari it glitches.

The image rendering seems to be due to a RAM memory problem with Safari, since other parts of my display are rendered within the image, and it changes every time I refresh. Here's a couple of pictures of different refreshes:

I've only seen this problem for the very specific jpg above. I've even downloaded it and repost it on imgur and have had the same issue. I haven't seen this issue for different imgur jpg photos. This isn't reproducible with Chrome.

Is this a problem with Safari? Or could it be my RAM? I would find it strange if it were my RAM, since the problem isn't reproducible with other images (form what I've seen), only this one.

MacBook Pro (13-inch Late 2011), OS X El Capitan (10.11.3), Safari Version 9.0.3 (11601.4.4)

Possible an incompatible Safari extension or third party plug-in ... very doubtful it's RAM causing the problem. The image render sfine here with Safari v9 on El Capitan v10.11.3.

From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Uninstall one extension then quit and relaunch Safari to test. Keep going until you find the incompatible Extension.

If it's not an extensions issue, try troubleshooting third party plug-ins.

Back to Safari > Preferences. This time select the Security tab. Deselect: Allow plug-ins. Quit and relaunch Safari to test.

If that made a difference, instructions for troubleshooting plugins here.

I've just tried restarting my Macbook, and the problem with this image isn't reproducible anymore. I still have the additional plugins. I'll keep an eye on it to see if other issues arrive - this was a weird issue. It really looks like it's related to memory though, because in the glitched image, small parts of it appear to have shown content from other tabs, and the image was "glitchy" but seemed to of had a certain pattern to it.

I've just tested loading the image in Safari on another Macbook Pro (Early 2015) but using the same OS, and the problem was not reproducible. I haven't noticed any other issues that would indicate that my RAM is bad. Is there any tests I should try, or am I safe to ignore this issue since I've only noticed it with a single image (and only using Safari)?

You know what, I actually did install the Pinterest extension - about 2 weeks ago. Prior to installing it, I had never had this issue. However I thought this might be the problem, so I promptly uninstalled it, and have still had the problem a couple times even now that the plugin is totally uninstalled. :/ Is it possible it could do irreparable damage somehow?! Forgive my ignorance.

I have a Macbook Pro 13 inch late 2011, OS X Yosemite 10.10.5, 2.4GHz Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM, Graphics Intel HD 512MB. Safari version 9.0.3.
