Best wireless mouse for heavy-duty Excel users?

My role requires me to use MS Excel on very large spreadsheets (6,000 rows), where one particular feature is the ability to jump to the bottom of a column by double-clicking on the bottom edge of a cell. Doing data conversion and correction work, this feature is critical.

I've been trying unsuccessfully to use a Magic mouse with Excel, and the "double-click to the bottom" feature works erratically, if at all. Recently I switched to the old-style wired Apple Mouse, which thankfully is still available in the Apple Store. it works perfectly.

My question to the community is does anyone know of a wireless mouse that works consistently well with Excel in the manner I have (hopefully) described? I'd prefer a wireless mouse over the wired version, if I can find one that works.
