Q: My "use as system photo library" button in photos is greyed out and I'm unable to select it.  Any idea on how to fix this?

I've found that photos needs to be set as "use as system photo library" in order to be able to have the box clickable in FCPX to then be able to import media from it.  However, when I go into photos to do this, that box is also greyed out.

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013), OS X El Capitan (10.11.3)

It sounds like that library is already set as the system library.

Are you having trouble using the photos media browser?

Oh wow, now I feel like a doofus.  Thanks Russ!  I was trying to click import media, then select the photos library from there, which is where it's greyed out and not selectable.  However, everything was already selectable from going the media browser route.
