    Try these steps

    1) Disable the QoS service on the router if available.

    2) Reboot Router/Modem:  Unplug from power for 2 minutes and plug again. Update Router Firmware (check manufacturer’s support website). Verify your router is Wi-Fi certified.

    3) Determine if other Wi-Fi devices on network are working well (other iOS devices, Macs, PCs).

    4) Try device at another Network, i.e., neighbors’, public coffee house, etc.

Then you may have a hardware issue and need to bring that device to an Apple store or authorized repair center

You could try & see if a reset of System Management Controller (re-sets power and other system-wide)

may help stabilize the circuitry in the wi-fi. Sometimes, there is an over-lap of functions -- so to also do

a reset of the NVRAM may (or may not) be of help in troubleshooting. For the NVRAM, let the re-start

sound chime three times before lifting your fingers off the four keys.

    • How to Reset NVRAM on your Mac - Apple Support

    • Reset the System Management Controller (SMC) on your Mac - Apple Support

Read though the details to see what these can do, (and what they can't is not fully spelled out) and at

times, some reset functions don't work the first time; if they can help, some subtle things may change.

At least if done correctly, you can say you tried them before setting an appointment for diagnostic test.

And double-check all network settings in your computer, to be sure.

    Good luck & happy computing!

    Hello,

I have a similar problem, the device is iPhone 6 plus. it keeps on disconnecting from wifi at work. It happens frequently and I have to join the network again by entering the wifi password. there are several iPhones on the same wifi and they are just okay. it does the same thing on wifi at home.

I have tried to reset network settings, join the network manually... it didn't work. I just installed iOS update 9.3.2 last night and the problem is still there.
