Q: MLB.tv app does not allow login for yearly subscription

After updating my subscription, I was unable to log into the mlb app on the apple tv. After resetting the unit, updating my password, I still had no luck. Apple said there was a known issue with the app not accepting yearly subscription logins for 2016. After calling MLB, they mentioned the app had been updated on March 8 which should solve the issue. I deleted the app and reinstalled it from the app store, but still had no luck. Any ideas?
