Mar 12, 2016 3:39 PM in response to nicksgirlby sberman,Well, you have a big problem. The bottom line is OS X 10.6.8 will not let you communicate to your iPhone.
Your iPhone is running the latest iOS (9.2.1). That version of iOS requires iTunes 12.3 or later to communicate. (The current iTunes is 12.3.2). iTunes 12.3 requires at least OS X 10.8.5 (current is OS X 10.11.3).
So you will need to upgrade your MacBook's OS X if you can, or purchase a new computer.
