Beats studio 2.0 wireless is louder on Bluetooth (iPad, iPhone and not Mac)

i just bought s pair of Beats Studio 2.0 wireless. Being the health conscious person I am, I only listen to really soft music when using headphones. this works when using this product via the cable or on my Mac, but when I use the Bluetooth feature on an iOS device, the minimum possible volume is considerably louder than the minimum volume of the same headphone on my Mac. I have aready tried resetting the headphones, but I think it's something in the iOS software.

any help would be much appreciated.
