Stand ring not moving

I am up and down every hour, but I show nothing in the standing screen. The ring doesn't move at all. Has anyone else had this?

You get credit for a stand when, after you have been sitting for a period of time, you get up and move around for at least a minute or two. If you stand up and remain still or sit back down in a short time no credit will be given.

If you sit for most of an hour a notification should come to your  Watch at about 10 minutes to the hour reminding you to stand up. If you receive that notification and stand up then move around for a few minutes you will receive another notification that you have been awarded a stand up credit.

If these are not happening try resetting your  Watch first. Press and continuously hold both the digital crown and the side button until the Apple logo appears on your  Watch. Then release the button and let the  Watch restart.

I tried restarting the watch as you suggested, but it still has not moved. I am up on my feet almost the whole day with very little sitting. Could that be the issue I am not sitting enough lol? My move ring is almost all the way around and nothing on the stand ring page. Its not really a big deal, it is just bugging me why it hasn't tracked any stand time

Hi - try these steps:

On your iPhone in the Watch app, go to: My Watch > General > Wrist Detection - check that this is turned on.

On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch > Privacy > Motion & Fitness - turn Fitness Tracking off (or on, if it is currently turned off).

Restart both devices by turning both off together first, then restarting your iPhone before restarting your watch:

- To turn your iPhone off: press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears; drag it to turn off. To restart, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button.

- To turn your watch off: press and hold the side button until you see the Power Off slider; drag it to turn off. To turn it back on: press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.

If you turned Fitness Tracking off in step 2, now return to the setting and re-enable it.
