iOS doesn't run on Macs.  It would help to know your Mac OS X.

    1Password <https://agilebits.com/>

    LastPass <https://lastpass.com/>

They have different models for paying.

Both are cross platform and will sync your passwords securely across all their supported platforms.

They both can auto-fill login/password information via a hot key when using your browser.

They both have extensions/add-on for the various browsers.

I use 1Password on my Macs and iPhone.  I know that if I updated a password entry (or secure note, or credit card information, etc....) on one system it will be available to me on all my systems.

The same can be said for LastPass, I just do not use it.

I highly recommend using a password manager.  I suggest a long, but easy to type password.  Once you get past simple dictionary words, length is the most important thing in making your password secure.

As well as what the particular local requirements and expectations are here, and whether (for instance) iCloud Keychain might or might not be the best choice.  Without these (and possibly other) details, "best" is unanswerable, unfortunately.

And since many passwords require changing every few months, you may want to randomly pick new numbers in places in the password when adjusting those passwords.

    Okay.

Maybe start with the Keychain Access.app tool that's integrated with OS X:

    Applications > Utilities > Keychain Access.app

That's integrated with Safari and most other applications on OS X, and can be used to store secure (encrypted, password-protected) notes.

Then figure out what about that Keychain Access.app tool does (or does not) meet your particular needs or requirements.
