Q: Two step verification.

Hhow do I shut off two step verification? I like some security but this is annoying.

How do I turn off two-step verification?
Sign in to your Apple ID account page.
In the Security section, Click Edit.
Click Turn Off Two-Step Verification.
Create new security questions and verify your date of birth.
You'll get an email confirming that two-step verification for your Apple ID is off.

OK, when I click edit under the security section it doesn't give me an option to switch off two part verification. It wants me to start the l"get started" process.

It may not think you have 2 step verification enabled
You may want to go through and enable it - then disable it
