Macbook Pro 13 Early 2015 Burning or Chemical Smell

I've had my macbook pro 13 early 2015 for about a year now. It smells. It smells like chemicals and/or burning. My hands smell like it after I use it. Is anybody else having this issue? It's been happening since I got it. I'm thinking I'll take it into the genius bar but I guarantee they tell me I'm crazy because they don't know how to fix it.

Honestly you should have taken it back immediately not wait a year and hope it goes away. If you purchased apple care they may still give you a hard time about it - but worth a shot.

So I got my macbook back from the shop and it's running a lot better. They replaced the fan kit as well as the battery/keyboard assembly. It still has the same chemical smell but it's way less intense now. As in, if I really whiff my computer I can smell it, but I can also just use my computer without being overwhelmed by it.

The report said that those elements were running unusually hot, so I assume it was some fault with the hardware. I haven't stress tested it yet because I'm worried about re-incurring the problem. But so far so good with normal everyday use. Thanks for suggesting the Genius Bar. The one in SoHo NYC is excellent.
