Q: hi i am trying to restore my iPhone because i forgot my iPhone password i am used the recovery mode one but my iPhone keeps exiting recovery mode before it is done what must i do?

i forgot my iPhone password and i am trying to restore it using the recovery mode option but my iPhone keeps exiting recovery mode before the software has downloaded what should i do i have put my phone into recovery mode over 5 times now but the same happens?

iPhone 6, iOS 9.2.1

Do you get any messages before it quits? Is it because Find my iPhone is on?
