Our church podcasts the sunday sermons, and I'd like to submit it as an itunes podcast.

I'm getting the following error:
Can’t download episodes from your feed.
I don't know what's going on here, as other feed validators pick up the contents just fine... I'd appreciate your suggestions.
The podcast is generated by Joomla module called "Preachit"

Reports 49 feed items, and 49 of them have enclosures...

You are not allowed spaces in a URL; when you present it like this iTunes sees the URL as ending at the first space and so obviously cannot access the file. The normal practice is to substitute an underscore for each space in both the filename and the URL in the feed.
The feed actually works, and plays the episode, when subscribing manually in iTunes, because the application evidently does what browsers d if you enter the URL - substitute the code %20 for each space - then server will accept that. The Store evidently does not make that accommodation.

Will update here once I've done it.
You could get away with substituting %20 for each space in the URLs in the feed; this would save you having to rename and re-upload the files (unless you can rename them on the server directly) though it's a bit messy, however it will work.
I can rename directly on the server. The more annoying step is updating the module! It's the more tedious part of the process.
However I'd prefer to get it right now, and move forward 🙂
This suggestion was right!
As it turns out, all I needed was ONE episode that didn't have spaces in it, and that was enough for it to validate...
However, it is only successfully downloading episodes that have had the spaces removed, so I'll need to update the back catalogue over time.
