Q: Copying Sticky Notes from Mountain Lion HD to new iMac

I just bought a new 27-inch iMac.  I pulled the hard drive from my old MacPro (Mountain Lion OS) and have connected it as an external HD to my new iMac.  I'm trying to copy my Sticky Notes from my old HD to the new iMac, but am having no luck.  I've tried to copy/paste the "com.apple.Stickies.plist" and "widget-com.apple.widget.stickies.plist" files from the old HD to the new iMac, but when I restart and launch Stickies, there are no sticky notes from my old system.

What am I missing?
