Pages ios - missing fonts

I've searched but can't find any answers.

I use Pages on my laptop. iPad, and iPhone - synced through iCloud

(El Capitan 10.11.3/ios9.2.1)

When I open my document in ios, I get the message:

Document Detail

Some changes were made to your document

And then I get a long list of missing fonts.

My original document only uses Times New Roman

Although I've experimented with other fonts, I never saved the work. BUT my mobile devices lists "missing fonts."

And now my Pages ios responds VERY sluggishly, to the point of being unusable.

I've tried highlighting ALL text and resaving as Times New Roman on my laptop and EACH mobile device - but no luck

Any ideas on how to correct this problem?
