i want to check what i got on my old macbook but i can't remember my password. Ive tried to press the s key and the apple key to reset it but i use my TV as external screen. I broke the laptop screen few months ago. how can i do it? cheers

If it has Firewire & you have another Mac with Firewire, you can try putting it into FW Target Disk Mode to view the contents, by connecting with a FW cable & booting the old MacBook holding the t key at bootup.
It won't work if you setup Firmware Password or Filevaullt on it though.
i don't have any other mac. is there a trick to switch the screen to my tv to see what i do?
how can i change my main password without screen?
