Mar 15, 2016 7:18 AM in response to D3ATH2020by Nubz N.,Hi D3ATH2020,
It sounds like you installed Windows 7 onto a hard drive using a separate PC (Windows) computer then wanted to use that hard drive with Boot Camp on a Mac.
Rather than installing Windows using a PC, try installing Windows on the Mac directly using the instructions for installing it with Boot Camp.
Install Windows 7 and earlier on your Mac using Boot Camp - Apple Support
Take care.

Mar 15, 2016 10:07 AM in response to D3ATH2020by Loner T,You seem to have driver mismatches. Were BC drivers installed when the disk was in the Mac?

Mar 15, 2016 10:24 AM in response to Loner Tby D3ATH2020,I installed Win7 and the BC drivers using my custom built because the optical drive(cd/dvd drive) on my MacBook quit working and I don't have the money for a external optical drive.

Mar 15, 2016 11:24 AM in response to D3ATH2020by Loner T,If the disk is in the Mac now, can you post the output of the following Terminal commands?
diskutil list
diskutil cs list
sudo gpt -vv -r show /dev/disk0
sudo fdisk /dev/disk0
The "sudo" commands will prompt for your password, and it will not be echoed back. You may also see a warning about improper use of "sudo" and potential data loss due to "abuse" of the command.

Mar 15, 2016 11:37 AM in response to Loner Tby D3ATH2020,It doesn't work because the optical drive keeps ejecting the disk on its own
