Setting up Apple TV on a Kramer VP 728 Switcher

Hi,

I noticed a post from garethryanJan 14, 2011 11:40 AM about difficulties experienced when trying to hook up a MacBook to a Kramer VP 728 Switcher. We are trying to do something similar at church, using a Kramer VP 728 Switcher/Scaler, and an Apple TV. The image will display momentarily, then flashes off the screen.

We were able to set up with Apple TV using a big screen tv and everything works fine there, which rules out difficulty with the Apple TV and the HDMI cable we're using. The issue appears to be between the Apple TV and the Kramer VP 728 Switcher/Scaler.

So just to recap, here's the setup: Apple TV attached to the Kramer VP 728 Switcher/Scaler with an HDMI cable. There is a VGA output to the overhead projector. I'm a relatively new Apple/Mac user . . . only converting from the "dark side" (a.k.a. pc's) about two years ago, so help would be appreciated. Any ideas?
