Q: iMessage used for jabber goes out of group automatically.

I use iMessage and logged in with my jabber id. From past few years, it looks like there is some bug in the program. Not in any frequency, i get kicked out of the groups automatically ( in the group window, i see 'rejoin group'  ).


Is there any fix planned?

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

    Hi,

     

    Your post is in Mavericks but your specs say Yosemite.

     

    The App is called Messages  and iMessages is one service it can join.

     

    I take it you have also set up a Jabber account (Google Mail IDs are Jabber IDs for GoogleTalk and might also be your Apple ID)

     

    Do you know if the Jabber server you are with can run Group chats ?
