Q: All previous Backups gone after upgrading to El Capitan. Can I get them back? I did a final backup before upgrading to ELC and could see previous backups all the way back until 2014. Today, I only see the one from yesterday. HELP.

All my previous Back-Ups are gone after upgrading to El Capitan. Can I get them back?

My computer is a 13" MacBook Pro, i5 2.3 GHz, Mid 2011, 320 GB HD, 8 GB RAM.

Before upgrading to El Capitan (10.11.3), I made a final backup on MacOS 10.7.5. Then, I could see previous backups all the way back until 2013.

The backup disk is a partitioned 1 TB Seagate. 650GB was dedicated to the Time Machine.

Now what i see is this dialogue box: Of that 650GB, Time Machine only sees 359 GB and cant backup.. Because it says it needs 384 GB for a 320 GB Hard Drive, of which 55 GB is unused.

Something went terribly wrong. Need help.

Thanks.
