I haven't been able to login to my facebook app for over a month. I type in my email address and password and the little circle goes endlessly around and around but nothing happens. After a looooong time the circle will stop, it will delete my login info from the boxes, and go back to the empty white boxes that say "email or phone number" and "password". No error messages come up. I have tried restarting my phone many times. I have reset my facebook password from a computer and tried logging into the app with the new password. I have tried deleting the app and reinstalling it several times. I went into facebook settings and in the part where it says "Allow these apps to use your account: calendars, contacts, facebook", I turned them all off. (I read somewhere that sometimes helps.) Didn't work. Then because it didn't make sense to not allow facebook to access itself I turned just the facebook one back on. Still didn't work. I tried logging onto facebook mobil from the safari browser on my phone and that does work. So for some reason it is just the app that's not working. I'm out of ideas for what else to try. Does anyone else have any ideas? And if not, where can I bring it to get help? To my phone company (sprint), to an apple store, to Best Buy? I browsed around on facebook but couldn't find anywhere to send an email and get support. There is a place to report problems but they specifically say they will not email you back, its just to help them solve bugs. Any suggestions appreciated! Thanks!

Try a forced restart: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps BEFORE doing the restart.

For further assistance, my guess is that Sprint would be of little or no help. Apple Genius bar might be your best bet; Best Buy only if you bought it there.
