I cant disable my personal hotspot password

The title says it all i want to disabled it and if i cant im going to throw it out the window 😠

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 9

Tap on the password from Settings, and remove it. You can create your own from there. Unfortunately, if you are trying to remove it permanently, you cannot. The Personal Hotspot has to have a password.

Why would you possibly want to disable this password?

If you do not care to use personal hotspot. then turn it off.

If you want to change the password, go to Settings > Personal Hotspot > Wi-Fi Password and change it.

You're welcome. Realize that removing that password leaves your device wide open for access. Anyone would be able to access your cellular data connection. Not a good idea.
