Q: Podcasts Connect is currently showing "could not read feed. error 504" for one of my podcasts.

When checking my feeds on Podcasts Connect, I saw one had an error but seems to be working properly. I tried updating the feed to one through Feedburner, but I then get an error saying it was previously submitted. I'm not sure what is causing the error 504 and if it will create any issues.

Your server is not responding properly to requests - 504 is a 'gateway timeout': for an explanation see here:

http://www.checkupdown.com/status/E504.html

I was able to subscribe to the feed manually, but it took a long time to show the episodes, and the top one eventually failed to load because of a timeout.

All this is something you will have to take up with the people running your server.
