Dear podcast owner,

An error was encountered while trying to add your feed, [ http://feeds.feedburner.com/cocolog-nifty/HoZp ].

Please correct the error and submit your feed again. For additional information, please consult the podcast FAQ at http://www.apple.com/itunes/podcasts/faq.html and technical specification at http://www.apple.com/itunes/podcasts/techspecs.html

Regards,

I can't see anything wrong with the feed. It can be subscribed to manually in iTunes, it validates in Feedvalidator and CastFeed Validator, the top episode's media file plays correctly and the podcast image is within specs (although a bit pixelatted - however though this is mentioned as something to avoid in the specs I would expect you to have got a message complaining about the image not the feed).

The error message you are getting usually appears when there is a problem reading the feed in the first place. We have see instances where a feed which worked elsewhere didn't work when requested by the iTunes Store, however this isn't going to arise with Feedburner.

Try checking it with Apple's own validator. Go to https://podcastsconnect.apple.com and log in with the ID you use for iTunes. Click the blue '+' sign at top left and enter the feed URL (not the URL of the media file). Click 'Validate' and the page will check for errors. What result do you get when you do this?

It's possible that you've hit some sort of glitch in the Store - it's been known. I should give it a couple of days then try again. If it still fails you could try contacting Support - point out that the feed validates in Feedvalidator - and if it validates at Podcasts Connect mention that. Go to https://itunespartner.apple.com/en/podcasts/overview and click the 'Contact Us' link at the bottom of the page.
