    Just what is your question/problem?

    What does "Second hook" mean?

The question I have is that the first monitor goes black all the time.

I have two TB monitors in series.  First one is attached directly to mac mini TB connector.  The second attaches to the TB interface on monitor one.  The first monitor keeps going black.  Second one works fines.

The two montiors work fine for a while than about 8 minutes in the first monitor goes black.  Not sure if on or off as no indicator but the second monitor connects through the first one is always okay.

People have suggested current draw.  I removed all the extra USB, etc from both monitors. I swapped montiors and always the first monitor in series goes black.
