The best way to find out is to try it.
Calibrating your watch helps it to more accurately estimate various fitness and activity-related results - including calorie estimations via the Workout app and calorie, distance, Move and Exercise estimations via the Activity App.
To calibrate your watch, follow the instructions in the first of the articles linked below.
Also check that your personal information is accurate:
- On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch (tab) > Health > check and, if necessary, edit your birthdate, gender, height and weight.
