Family Sharing Payment Information

Is there a way to set up family sharing without sharing the credit card associated with the primary account?

Not from what I read on the support pages, Rich. For example, you can't set it to NONE for no card on file.

Maybe a Debit card with a small balance and no access to your main account might be a way out.

In Family Sharing, the credit card is a legal requirement in order to validate that you are taking financial responsibility for the Member. There is no way around that.


Once the member is added, you can switch your payment option to a debit card.
