iPad not displaying Presenter view via Airplay and Apple TV

How can I resolve the issue of not seeing the presenter view on my iPad when conneted to Apple T.V. through aiplay.

Normally I connect my iPad with airplay to the Apple T.v. and presenter view automatically pops up when i Play the presentations. This time I connected to the Apple TV via airplay, pressed play and it didnt show up on the T.V. So I enabled mirroring and my presentation showed up on the T.V. but didnt have presenter view. I need presenter view. SO how can I resolve the issue and be able to show my presentation and have presenter view on my ipad?
