Q: adding multiple photos to Keynote

I have an existing presentation and want to add 20 more slides.  Do I have to add one slide at a time?

Also, I want to re-arrange slides, is there a way to take all the slides/photos currently in the presentation and put them in a folder...re-arrange and make a new presentation.

I find the re-shuffling ..one-by one..slow and tedious...

Most important is the loading of 20 photos to an existing presentation.

To import a group of images:   select the images using a Finder window then Drag and Drop the images onto the Navigator Panel in Keynote.

To rearrange slides in a presentation go to:     View > Light Table then drag drop the slides to rearrange.

    Hi Gary

Thanks...I really need a basic tutorial demonstrate how to "use" Keynote.  However, the view light table was just what I previously could not find..txs. I still don't seem to be able to drag and drop more than one image...but I am working on it.

Since you are so helpful with these questions.... I am trying to record/video/sound interviews, i.e., calling people and asking the a few questions..and then downloading the conversation for inclusion in a keynote presentation.  I tried Google hangout, but didn't work...and someone mentioned a FaceTime or Skype call, with Ecamm?

For now, I am asking people to record themselves (I provide the questions)on their smartphones...and I seem to be able to take video sent to me by e-mail, and include them in Keynote. They work... I am not looking for Academy Award quality...

Long story... I volunteered to do a slide and video presentation for a non-profit's 25th anniversary celebration... Way over my head... If I were 30 something , instead of 75 I might have a few more ideas...  May 11th is approaching and if you have any ideas...shout them out!!

    Thanks again,

I still don't seem to be able to drag and drop more than one image...but I am working on it.

In a Finder window,  set to list view:

    Screen Shot 2016-03-19 at 18.20.23.png

use one of these methods to select files:

    • to select individual files:   command and click (press the command key then click mouse)

I am trying to record/video/sound interviews,

Recording the FaceTime or Skype calls and using the iPhone video files is a perfectly acceptable way to do this.

Don't let the participants hand hold the iPhone, prop it on a table using an iPhone rest, see these ideas:

Trying to drag photos to the navigator panel in keynote to populate multiple slides... it will not allow me to drop anything in the navigator panel.  I have tried directly from photos, from a file in finder and from a file on desktop, etc.  NOTHING will drop anywhere except into one slide... any advice?
