I don't use it myself but only because I need something that will also work on Windows as well as on OS X and iOS. I use Dashlane because it does that well: https://www.dashlane.com/

I use the free KeePassX which is as "universal" as can be. Clients for OS X, Windows and iOS (called MiniKeePass in the iTunes Store), same file format so you only need worry in keeping them synchronized. Word of warning, though: do NOT store the password vault file in any place EXCEPT the device's local storage. Not the iCloud, DropBox or anything the miscreants or the three-letter agencies can get their hands on.

1Password - I have used it for years on my Macs and Android phones. There is also an iOS client, and Windows client. I highly recommend it. And if you use a device which doesn't have a client you can login to Dropbox and get to your items from there (assuming you have 1Password set to sync with Dropbox). Well worth the money.

Take a look at Zoho Vault. It's simple & free forever for personal use including their mobile apps (iOS, Android) and browser extensions (Chrome and Firefox). By going through their community page, believe they are also coming with the Safari extension very soon. They also offer free licenses to LastPass users and CNET readers.
