How much charge is left in the watch?
Please try to connect it to the charger and see if it starts up

    Hi

When Apple Watch is nearly out of power, it automatically enters Power Reserve mode.

When this happens, the watch needs to be charged to at least 10% capacity before it can be restarted and returned to normal power mode.

For a full charge, allow up to around 2.5 hours. If your watch does not restart automatically during or after that time, try starting it by pressing and holding the side button until you see the Apple logo.

After you have placed your watch on the charger, it is normal for the screen to sleep after a few moments. You can tap on the screen at any time during charging to wake it and check the charging status.

If the watch has been turned off before charging, it is also normal for the watch to start automatically after you place it on the charger. It is not presently possible for Apple Watch to be turned off during charging.

I'm also having the same problem.  Starting a week ago, my Apple Watch start turning itself off when battery level reaches about 60%.  The screen displayed the low battery indicator (bottom screenshots) until it is charged for 10-20 minutes, after which the Watch will turn itself on automatically (with Apple logo screen).  I also found that if I charge the Watch with Apple Watch Magnetic Charging Dock, the Watch seems to be able to turn itself on immediately without needing to wait 10-20 minutes.  When the Watch turned on, battery level was at 61%.

Ever since the problem started, I also noticed that the battery indicator on the Watch is acting weird.  When the battery is fully charged, it stayed at 100% even after few hours of heavy usage.  I have tried resetting the Watch, un-pair and pairing again, but the problem still persist.  I talked with Apple Support (chat) after the problem appeared again today and the support person ran diagnostic on my Watch.  The person told me that battery condition is good and suggested me to try setting up the Watch as new, which I did, to see if the problem still occur.

Since ending the support session, I have been playing with the Watch for 2 hours straight and battery still stayed at 100%.  (It went down to 99% as I'm typing this very post at 2 hours 10 minutes mark.  Battery indicator seems to drain at normal rate after it passed 99%.  It is now "properly" reporting 98% after I played with it for few minutes.)  I'm guessing that it might be a problem somewhere that cause battery to mis-report its capacity.
