Why does ICloud never accept my login on my desk top? Each attempt requires me to return to my profile and use a passcode delivered to my phone. I have yet to use ICloud for storage because it never seems to be visible to me.

Thank you. I tried that and opted out of the two-step verification. I am still trying to get my desk top added to my list of devices so that I can use Icloud on a continuous basis.
