Q: Acorn TV app won't open

Why won't the Acorn TV app accept my Apple ID and password on AppleTV. I'm fully paid up for a year.

As I explore this further, I notice that I cannot sign into my AppleTV to manage my accounts. AppleTV does not accept my Apple ID and password. I have not changed my Apple ID/password and they work fine in the iTunes Store. What's the next step?

Make sure DNS is set to auto (settings - general - network)
If on wifi try Ethernet
Make sure router has port 123 open (refer to manual if unsure)
Test on another network

Netflix runs fine. Other apps on AppleTV run fine, but not Acorn TV.

How would I test on another network?

Would resetting the AppleTV solve my problem? I've tried restarting several times.

You would be going to another location to test on a different network
You can try a reset
