Welcome to the Apple Support Communities! I'm sorry to hear that you are having these issues with your iPad. It sounds like you have been on the right track in your troubleshooting. If you continue to have issues with your WiFi connection, you may find the troubleshooting steps outlined in the following article helpful (apologies if you have already seen it). In particular, you may want to see if this issue is isolated to your home network, and/or if your iPad can get online on other WiFi networks:

Mar 17, 2016 6:07 PM in response to andbcby Nikolaus Wagenfeiler1,I had the same problem (IPad mini 4 and Air) I reset all my network settings (general > reset >Reset Network Settings) on both iPads. I noticed I could only get one to connect at a time. I went to (General > About > Name) which changed to "Ipad". I changed that entry to something unique and my wifi fired right up.
