Q: iCal stopped giving alerts and won't sync with iPhone
I'm using El Capitan 10.11.3, and my calendar was working fine until this weekend. I'm going to say it was working until daylight savings time, in case that's relevant, since I had alerts on Friday and they were working, but the alerts I've had since Monday didn't work. I have added new events to the iCal on the computer, but the alerts don't work, and the events won't sync to the phone. If I put an event on the iPhone, the alerts work and they sync to the computer, and alert there as well. It's only what I add on the computer that is not working, new events or ones that were posted before this weekend.
I have tried restarting the iMac, and rebooting the phone, but nothing has changed. I have checked my settings and everything seems to be fine, and I haven't changed any settings recently anyway.
