Play MP3 through microphone

i am wondering if theres a way to play music through a microphone. For example, if I have iTunes playing, or Spotify playing, is there a way to play those files directly through a microphone to another person. if I'm on skype with someone and I just want them to hear my music (without using the microphone, like I want them to hear it as if they're playing it from their own computer very clear). I basically want to broadcast what I'm playing on my computer through a microphone. It would be something similar to stereo mix on Windows computers. how can I do this?

iPhone 6, iOS 8.1.3, 64gb

From what I've read macs don't have stereo mix? Only Windows. If Windows has the capability to play sounds this way through the microphone, Mac should be able to do it too... Somehow. Someone suggested a program line in and soundflowerbed but I can't for the life of me figure them out.

im sure the only way to get the music to the other side is playing through the background

In most cases, a computer already has this ability it has just been disabled. to turn it on right click your speaker icon in the system tray -> Recording devices. Now right click in an open space and make sure that show disabled devices and show disconnected devices are ticked. If you see something other than microphone disabled it may be the stereo mix. Sometimes it is names something different.

If you do not have it you will have to check if you have Realtek before downloading the codec.

EDIT: Once you have Stereo mix enabled you will need to set up skype. there are two ways to complete this.

1) Tools > options > Audio > set stereo mix where the microphone would go.

2) *already in a call* you must bring up the call options (wifi looking icon) -> under the microphone tab you can set stereo mix
