Q: Update to iMovie from Apps Store
I have a MacBook Pro (13inch Mid2010) running on OS X El Capitan Version 10.11,3
When Version 10.1.1 of iMovie was released Jan 20 2016 I updated and successfully installed it on Jan 21 2016
Subsequently it continued to appear as an Update available to be installed and once again it was successfully reinstalled on Mar 10 2016
After checking a few days later In the Apps Store for any outstanding updates it has reappeared as an outstanding update
What action can I now take to have this "update" deleted from the Apps Store?

First check your applications directory and make sure you don't have an old unneeded duplicate version of iMovie. Then try reindexing Spotlight Reindexing will take a while. Let it go overnight.
