iTunes don't read all my music.

Hi,

I often buy music from the iTunes store or download some CDs to my computer (MacBook Pro) and sync them with my iPhone. But then when I am out of my house, without Wifi, I cannot listen to that music (on my iPhone). They, either ask me to download it again or the file is grey (not black as the others) and I cannot listen to it or anything else.

Did I do anything wrong, or to I have to change something in my settings? I wish I wouldn't have to download it one by one every time.

Thanks you some much for your time if you can help me.

Hi, CathCath09.

Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.

I understand you are unable to listen to your media unless connected to a Wi-Fi network. This sounds like you are either an Apple Music subscriber and you need to make this media available offline or you need to download your purchases from your iCloud Music library. Here are the two articles that explain these features and how to make your medial available offline.

Add music from the Apple Music catalog to your library on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, or PC

Download your past purchases

Cheers
