Mar 16, 2016 6:27 AM in response to ChiefSilvebackby keg55,Have you tried simply reinstalling OS X El Capitan over itself? Assuming you have a Recovery HD, you can restart into that and reinstall OS X. This will NOT harm your user accounts, settings data or apps. If you don't have a Recovery HD, then you can download it from the App Store / Purchases tab. Sometimes reinstalling the OS fixes issues.

May 2, 2016 8:04 AM in response to keg55by ChiefSilveback,Picking up on this one, I did a clean install, and everything was fine for a few weeks then suddenly the issues are back, if I try to boot with both screens connected it drops to a black screen half way through the progress bar when the Apple icon appears. I have to unplug one of the two displays from my mini in order to boot up, once I get to my 'select user' screen I can reconnect the second screen and all is fine.
Then today I'd stepped away from my mini for half an hour, came back, woke from sleep and it couldn't reconnect to the internet. The strange thing is that it had sat asleep all weekend and connected straight away when I woke it this morning!
Any ideas?

May 9, 2016 5:37 AM in response to ChiefSilvebackby ChiefSilveback,I was able to fix one of the two issues. The internet connection is linked to my work VPN. If the machine goes to sleep when it's connected to the VPN then at wake it tries to reconnect and for some reason this prevents the machine from establishing any kind of internet connection. We use an F5 VPN so not sure if that's a known bug or some oddity with my setup?
Now I just need to work out what's cause the issue trying to startup with dual screens!!
