My new iPhone 5S with IOS 9.2.1 won't pair with my 2014 VW Passat's RNS 310 telephony system. The VW sees my iPhone and my iPhone sees the VS but the pairing fails. I really need my iphone to work in with my Passat's telephony system. Can anyone one help.

Thank you Brendan. That article is all about connecting to the stereo and the RNS that I had a problem with was the Sat Nat. However, I have solved it now.
During the pairing process initiated by the VW RNS, at the "search for devices" I switched off the iPhone and switched it back on and the code displayed on the VW RNS display was also on my iPhone and so the pairing went OK. It was a matter of knowing at which point to "hard boot" the iPhone. Not that this would seem a natural thing to have to do in the middle of a pairing process.
