Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

The alias "Microsoft Remote Desktop" can’t be opened because the original item can’t be found.

Running Mac OS 10.11.3. Clicking "Fix Alias..." does not fix it. Afraid to click "Delete Alias" since I don't know where the "original" is. I'm not good with computers, so if you have a solution, please explain it like I'm a 5 year old. Thanks.

Where are you clicking when yo get that message?

First look in your Applications folder and see if Microsoft Remote Desktop is there.


Reinstall Microsoft Remote Desktop.
