Hello,

I have an iPad2, which I have had for a few years now. Not jailbroken, fully updated. No new apps installed recently. I do have a few games on it, but I haven't played any recently.

Sometimes when I wake the iPad up, an error message pops up in a white box and it reads as follows:

I'm not sure what this is about. I do have an app that I use frequently that does have the option to make an in app purchase, but I have never actually made a purchase within that app. I am going to contact the app developers and see if they have received any reports of such a thing. The app is Recolor.

I am not making any in app purchases when this pops up. It happens whether I have an app still open or not when the iPad goes to sleep.

Anyone know anything about what such a message might mean?

iPad 2, Windows 7

Definitely report the problem to Apple > Report a problem with an item purchased from the iTunes Store, App Store, Mac App Store, or iBooks Store - Apple Support

You are not the only user have issues with this particular app. I check the Apple Developer forums. There's a discussion there dated March 15, 2016, same issue.

Hopefully the problem will be fixed soon.
