No sub titles on TV series

A few weeks ago I purchased a TV series on a DVD from Amazon - series One of "Happy Valley". It was a great series and as I suffer from dysphasia following a major brain haemorrhage (stroke), I could follow it with the sub titles provided in many languages. I decided to purchase the second Series from Apple through my Apple TV. It arrived only for me to discover the series from Apple comes without any sub-titles, rendering it useless for me. I'm not sure how I can return the digital download, or better still get the subtitles? Despite being a staunch supporter of Apple, I guess in future I will use Amazon when it comes to buying videos.

That particular show's second season is not available in the US store, but the first season was and it includes closed captioning. If you have not turned on subtitles in your Apple TV settings yet, you may need to do that first. You can check to see if a show has CC before buying it. See this article for help: Find closed-captioned and subtitled content in the iTunes Store - Apple Support

If the show does not have the option to turn on subtitles, try using this link: Report a Problem
