Q: iPod Nano won't charge and Mac won't accept it.

My iPod Nano generation 6 won't charge and my computer won't accept it, either. It will charge when plugged in almost anywhere except the computer for some reason. I have tried all the USB ports. The computer used to accept and charge it, but it won't anymore.

I have another iPod (generation 7) that the computer will accept and allow to charge, but I want to be able to charge and sync my other iPod. The On/Off button on my 6th generation iPod no longer works, and to turn the screen on, I have to set a timer and wait for it to go off in order to use the screen again. This makes my 6th generation iPod less of a distraction than my other iPod while I am working, so I CANNOT replace it.

Also, why does music on my generation 6 iPod play slightly slower than music on my generation 7 iPod? If I play the same song on both iPods at the same time, they will sound like they are playing at the same speed at first, but eventually the music on my generation 6 iPod will start to sound delayed. This is not causing me any problems, but I am curious as to why it happens.
