Q: Garageband iPad MIDI export to PC

Hello. I have a rather specific problem, and I haven't seen anyone else have the exact same problem.

I have an iPad Air with iOS 9.2.1. On my Windows 7 PC I have iTunes 12.3.2.35.

My problem is that I want to export MIDIs of songs I've created on Garageband (on my iPad) to my PC. If I had a Mac instead of a PC, the solution would be simple. I could just go to my iPad, select the song, and then choose "Send to iTunes". Then I get two options. One is sending an audio file to iTunes, the other being a file with all the original multi-track audio, loops etc. Basically everything needed to then create a MIDI file on my computer version of Garageband (if I had a Mac, of course).

Well, since I don't have a Mac, I'd have to choose just sending an audio file. The problem is there isn't a way to get a good MIDI file out of this. I've tried converting that audio file to MP3/WAV and then converting it to MIDI, but the MIDI files have been horrible.

I've also tried using the second option, that is, sending the original multi-track audio with loops and etc to iTunes, even though that option is only for Mac users. When I do that, I get a .band file in my file sharing area in iTunes. I don't think this .band file contains any useful info, unless I had the computer version of Garageband, which I can't get.

So, does anyone know I could fix this problem? I don't know if it's possible to convert the .band file to something more useful, maybe that'd be one solution.
