Q: How can i stop pop up windows on safari

It sounds like you have adware on your computer.  You have two options to get rid of it:

1. Use Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for Mac to remove it (it was developed by a trusted and respected contributor here) — https://www.malwarebytes.org/antimalware/mac/
2. Remove the adware manually by following the advice in the linked support article — http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203987

Also, go to Safari Preferences --> Extensions and uninstall any you don't remember installing.  After that, go to Safari Preferences --> General and reset your homepage, then go to Safari Preferences --> Search and reset your preferred search engine.  Also, make sure in Safari Preferences --> Privacy and make sure you have "Block pop-up windows" selected.
