Problem with D-U-N-S : Urgent

I am trying to enroll my organisation on an Apple Developer Program.

I got a valid D-U-N-S number sent to me by D&B on 02 February 2016.

However until now whenever i try to enroll my company using the D-U-N-S number i get the following error message:

"The information you entered did not match your profile in the D&B database. Before submitting your organisation information, look up your D&B profile."

I have looked it up and the profile exists.

I have sent a query to D&B but we were told to contact Apple directly.

We created a case on Apple Support and we are eagerly and desperately awaiting for a response.

Can somebody from the community help me on this issue. Please treat as urgent.

Hello Nabla_business,

Desperate? You should be aware that Apple moves at glacial speed on these issues. For one thing your DUNS number was just created. You should wait 60 days before attempting to create an account. However, it does appear that your information has gone through to Apple. You will have to wait for Apple support to constct you. You may need to make repeated attempts via multiple channels to get Apple's attention.

I had a similar experience. The problem was that when Apple imported data from Dun & Bradstreet, they completely scrambled my address. But I didn't have problems creating my account so your issues may be worse.

And I should caution your about "urgency". Apple has a huge backlog of similar issues. In my case, the only way was able to get my issue resolved was when an Apple Tech Support engineer used remote access to go into my machine and then look at Apple's own Developer Site. But I did get that issue resolved. I had other issues with tax forms though.

My point is that it may take up to a year to get your developer account fully setup. I suggest opening an additional, personal account for testing and development purposes. Make sure to use dedicated bundle IDs for that purpose. That way, when your business account is finally setup then you will be ready to go and familiar with the process.

Hello etresoft,

Thank you very much for your reply. It helped me a lot. I was not aware of the 60 days wait.

Apple has contacted me finally and requesting for some legal company documents.

I will try to follow the steps and see how it goes.

I really appreciate your help. Hopefully i will be a able to enroll successfully soon.

Will keep updating.
