Where is my System folder?

In Yosemite, where is my System folder?

I have activated Show System Files in Finder and see Library etc. but no System folder.

I want to access System folder as I want to access Core Services.

Thanks.

You don't have to set show system files.

Yosemity:

(extra: In Finder: choose your Home Folder, choose GO menu, hold the Alt(option) key, then you see Library in the list).

In Finder: Preferences->Sidebar: check Hard Disks under Devices. Then in Finder click your startupdisk in the sidebar, the System folder is visible: there is just one Folder in there called Library (not the same as the Library in the HomeFolder).

You should not go into the System Folder. Why would you do that? Is there an issue?

Thank you. I needed to do:-

In Finder: Preferences->Sidebar: check Hard Disks under Devices.

The reason is that I wanted to locate Network Utility. I could find it via a Spotlight Search but could not figure out where it was on my Mac.

I knew it was in ~System/Library/Core Services but needed to find System folder.

The key was to do .. In Finder: Preferences->Sidebar: check Hard Disks under Devices .. then I could locate the app I wanted.

Thank you.
