Infiniti g37 Iphone 6

Hi there,

I just recently started driving a 2009 Inifiniti g37x. As we all know, the integrated iPhone cable in the car, only supports iPhone 4. I bought a 30pin to lighting adapter and hooked it all up. It works great when directly plugged into the phone, although the issue I have is that I have the Apple Smart Case, which charges your phone, and when plugged into the lightning adapter on the case, the car wont recognize the device.

In my previous vehicle, I had no issue plugging the cable into the case, since the whole idea of the case having the lighting input is so that you dont need to take your phone out of the case every time. Is there a fix for this? Would be very disappointing if I have to take my phone out of the case every single time I want to plug my phone into the car.
